Tout from ARIS, Language Australia were awarded a 1998 ANTA
Adult Literacy National Project. The project was titled Adult
Numeracy Materials and Assessment: an on-line action research
project.
The project established a system of on-line communication and
support for numeracy practitioners across Australia, and this
site is one of the products of the project. Participants engaged
in developing teaching materials and assessment tasks which have
been incorporated into this site. The project also piloted a
distance model of action research in numeracy teaching and assessment. |
