Are you relatively new to teaching a VCAL program?  You may be a first year teacher or you may have been teaching mainstream, secondary programs for some time and now find yourself delivering a more Applied Learning, Flexible VCAL program.
This workshop will support you to

• Develop relevant and engaging curriculum
• Assist with quick and manageable recording systems
• Look at new and innovative strategies for program delivery
• Understand and apply the principles of Applied Learning
• Develop strategies to manage and engage challenging learners
• Access a wide range practical and appropriate lessons ideas
• Develop themed, integrated project based curriculum
• Develop networks with other teachers and facilitators

The new CGEA -a detailed look at all aspects of the new CGEA
This workshop will look in detail at aspects of the newly reaccredited CGEA, in particular:

• The format and language of the document
• The overall course structure
• The core units including the new units
• Develop a Learning Plan and Complete a Project
• An in-depth look at a selection of units of competency
• Employability skills in the new CGEA.

The workshop is aimed at practitioners who have little, or no, knowledge of the new CGEA. It is a hands-on session conducted in a supportive environment.
